Hosted by Jackie & Phil — a home away from home

Elgin Lodge is a privately owned retreat in the heart of Elgin, created by Phil and Jackie as a home away from home for guests who want more than a hotel room. Phil built much of what you see — the bespoke fitted furniture, the oak flooring, the kitchen — with his own hands.

Everything you need is here — quality linen, a fully equipped kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, and genuine local knowledge from people who spend their weekends on these rivers, roads and hillsides.

Whether you're arriving by bike along the Cairngorms roads, casting a line on the Spey, or simply escaping for a quiet break in one of Scotland's finest corners — we'd love to have you.

Moray & the Highlands

One of Scotland's best-kept secrets

Elgin sits at the heart of Moray — a region of extraordinary variety. Within an hour you have the Moray Firth coast with its famous bottle-nosed dolphins, the Cairngorms National Park, the River Spey (one of Scotland's finest salmon rivers), and more whisky distilleries than anywhere else on earth.

The city itself is full of surprises — a magnificent ruined cathedral, a fine Georgian high street, excellent restaurants and a surprisingly vibrant local scene.
